We Hit Water

The guys digging the well (Ali and Beja), finally hit water at 73 feet.  It's the local tradition that when well diggers hit water they require a slaughtered goat before they will get out of the well.  So, we killed a couple of goats and had a BBQ with all the workers.  It was a fun day.  Here are a few pics from the event.

Roasting the meat

This was everyone's favorite part: livers, kidneys, intestines, stomach, etc.
The finished meal.  Roasted goat with Ugali (corn flour mush, the Kenyan staple)
